miller is 8 months old.

oh happy month-day miller!! :)

what a silly girl you are.

we'll start with stats :)

i dont know how tall she is since her last visit, but we *did* have a weight check.

::drumroll::

she went from 12lbs 10oz 4 weeks ago to... 15 POUNDS!! hahaha what a fatty.



so here's what we did.

I would BF her. and then she'd get a small bottle of formula (not after every feeding, just once in a while) with flax seed oil in it. then, she'd eat her finger foods with coconut oil. thats it! haha



BFing is still awesome. i started drinking a shitton more water (i swear some days that ill drown) and then also a few fenugreek a day. ta-da! im so proud of my little grower!

she wears 6months clothes. some 6-9 now fit comfortably - a bit big, but still wearable.



playing with her sisters is numero uno. they make her laugh so much.


even if it looks like she and reese are frenemies ;) haha

the 4 of them in the pic up there ^^^ was them trying to help her crawl.

annnnnnd miller is def on the move. she army crawls (ive never had a kid do this) and is super fast now. so long for my sweet baby under a playmat, right?! haha

she sleeps alright. still wakes up once, but oh well - im used to it now so its really no big deal. she usually takes 1 big nap and then falls asleep on me in the evenings for about 30mins. which i adore bc i have not had a baby who still just... cuddles... at this age. so its so swoon-worthy.



her fave place to be is like a spider monkey ON me when we are doing things.


i mean look at that sweet face.


happy 8 months to you, sweet girl. you babble, you crawl, you eat everything we do. you laugh so much and smile at everyone. im a lucky mom.

miller is 7 months.

ok she was last week, but i didnt get around to posting this. but now i am ;)


what a awesome baby, i have. i mean, she's happy and loves to laugh.


her favorite past times are bouncing her in jumperoo (funny: i hollered at A and S to "stop bouncing her!!!" bc she was going so hard/high. they laughed, backed up. and BAM - miller was going nutso all by herself lol oops)

height: 25.5" (23%)
weight: 12lbs 10oz (< 1%)
head: 16.5" (20%)


now i'll tell you a bit about her weight ;) yeah, she's tiny. she does everything on time - her milestones are on point, she's happy, healthy, eats well, has good diapers, but just... small. so for the next month, we are to give her some formula after i BF her. and put flax seed oil in that (and then also her gym bottle). THEN with her food (she's all table food), mix coconut oil into that! bam!

now, we all think she's way bigger than she has been :) so i am not too worried. i love my tiny little bug!

as for the rest - like i said up there ^^^ still BFing and of course, she's obsessed lol her newest "trick" is now spitting (raspberry-ing) my boob when she's done. haha


sleep sort of sucks. but not too bad. she goes to bed at, like, 7. maybe earlier. then she's good until about 1am. which would be fiiiiine if i went to bed at a decent hour. but i dont. i stay up and read ;) then she sometimes wakes at 4am and then i keep her in my bed until i have to go get aidan up for kindy. then i drop miller down, get A ready and send her to school with EJ. then S comes down, i feed her and finish morning duties, get R and M, and then feed them :) so it works out nicely.


miller just loves life. and im soaking up every moment :) this is the first time that ive actually LOVED the baby age. ive always said that i am a "toddler mom", but i think thats bc i am always so ready and excited for them to move to the next stage... sitting up, walking, talking... but with miller, im just like "nooo dont do thatttt!!!" i just want to keep her little forever haha

miller is 6 months old.

oh my heck time flies.




let me start with some stats.

she is probably about 12lbs or so. i have no idea on height or anything (her appt isnt til sept bc of our schedule right now). she wears 3-6 month clothes.


she is an okay sleeper. she goes to bed at about 730 and then i usually have to rock her about an hour later but thats it. then she down for a while. recently, she's been waking up at like 3/4am, but thats bc she is boogery lol

she also MOVES all around her crib on her back. she shimmies everywhere. so here is the back of her head tupee.



still BFing :) yay me! eating same times as usual. little love.

things she can do:

1. roll over both ways.


2. sit tripod for a few seconds ;)


3. grab for things. like my cell phone. and her toes.

4. stand at the couch if i put her there. lol

5.  be a sweetie pie and makes us smile all day long.

she is just so fun. happy 1/2 birthday miller :)
