poor baby 5. #kidding

sigh.

tonight at dinner, i was eating and she was nom'ing on my hand and i realized she had two teeth poking through. TWO. and i had no idea. she has been a super bad sleeper for the past week or so, but not in my wildest dreams did i think it would be because of teeth. i have never had a kid with a tooth before 7 months, at least!

I should get to posting pics. ya know, since i haven't posted her weekly/monthly pics since 3 months old ::oops::

at 4 months old they said she weighed 8lbs 15oz. :)

i bet now, at over 5 months, she weighs 10? maybe a bit over that? we'll see at the end of this month at her 6mo appt.

she wears size 1 diapers. sometimes a 2 if thats near. hell, sometimes a 5 if thats the closest ;)

she wears 0-3mon clothes!

she can roll both ways. she likes being on her belly.

she is an alright sleeper. i dont really know how often she wakes up at night bc i just put her on the boob. but maybe twice (when she's not sneakily teething...).

she's happy. she doesnt like to be held like a baby, though. she likes for you to hold her up. so she can be a part of everything.

she giggles and coos and tries to talk. she loves her hands. like, a lot. she still sleeps swaddled, but will sleep unswaddled sometimes. its not a necessity - its just easier lol

ok. lets go. starting from 14 weeks til NOW! :)

miller is 5 months old.

oh hi there little lady.


hurray for 5 months!

she is filling out nicely ;) even if she's just a tiny thing! she probably weighs a tiny bit over 11lbs. she wears 3 months clothes (the blue outfit in these pics is 3 months).

she eats the same as she did last month. and naps the same (ish), too. short morning, long afternoon, short evening, then bed.

for the past few weeks she has been waking up to eat at like midnight ::twitch:: and then again at 4ish. i am hoping its just the 4 month wakeful that will soon come to an end. last night she slept til 4 and then til 830 and thats waaaay nicer ;)




she breastfeeds for about 20 mins, id say, for meals. its been a real challenge now that she is so alert and popping off and on and looking around. everyone says "go somewhere quiet!!" but HA! i have others to watch so i just try to keep them entertained so M and i can focus on what she's doing ;)

i am proud of myself for BFing this long, though :) go me! its been so stress-less. and surprisingly, i have thought about stopping any time soon.



she still hates the car, loves to be wrapped up (arms up by face, though), loves her gumdrop paci (and only that kind), hates being over tired, loves her play mat and also her sisters.



she likes to spit at us now. lol she makes this face.


and she also still only rolls from belly to back. she likes her back, though, so the interest to roll back to belly is not there at all.

(notice the belly hate after a few mins haha)


rollllll over.


she's just my little peanut still and i just want to smooch her all the time.
