let's catch up :)

so lets see. aidan is almost 21 mon and sawyer is almost 5 weeks :)

my birth story with sawyer is rather simple. i planned to be induced on july 30, 2008. we went in at about 6am, started everything at about 7am. then got my epidural a little over an hour later... then we waited. i knew i was starting to feel a lot of pressure and when then i was ready! :) i pushed for 3 mins (if even that long lol) and sawyer was born at 1:19pm. she was 7lbs 6.5oz and 20 1/4 inches. she just had her 1 mon appt and she is now 21" and 9lbs 2.5oz! what a little grower :) she was beginning to get reflux and was throwing up all the time. we put her on zantac and that didn't help at all, but now, with a little rice cereal in her bottles she is 100% able to keep everything down. enjoy the pics - sorry there are a lot of sleeeeping ones lol she did that a lot at first.

aidan had her 20 mon appt and was 25lbs and 32" :) still my little peanut. aidan is so smart. she understands 100% of anything i say and she just astounds me everyday when she says something new or does something totally wacky and funny.

EJ and I had our 1 year wedding anniversary on Aug. 25. love. instead of the normal boring dinner and out (since we had JUST gone to a $$$$ dinner to celebrate having sawyer) we decided to get tattoos and go out with friends! :) i got another star on my ankle bc we have another member of the family of course. and i also got "this year's love" (our song and well, its our 1 year anni) on my back written in gaelic. i love it.

basically my day consists of nothing but waking up, feeding sawyer, aidan waking up, feeding her, playing with them, NAP TIME for about 3 hrs, then back up, more food, more play, then EJ gets home :)

EJ just started a new position at his company and, wow, what a great opportunity it is. now he works 730am-430pm and its so great having him home earlier - especially since he isn't dealing with traffic really.

overall i could not be more happy right now. i love my life. love my little family and i can't wait to see what is in store for us. i'll update soon. :)
